Scrappy Hunters Star

A finish at long last.

A very scrappy red, cream to  white Hunters star. Finished size 60 x 60 IMG_1736inches. Of to be quilted on Monday by myself at the long armed quilters. I think I am going to quilt it in swirly shapes in a dark cream or red thread.

This was a block that I had wanted to do for a while so I asked the Mishmash Busters group to make me some blocks and send them to me.

A lot of these materials came out of my stash and a lot of the materials were left over from the Red Beastie.

In the next few days I will be posting photographs of another red quilt that i need to finish the borders on.

Happy stitching

  8. hi
    I'm vivi from argentina
I have been searching for hunters star quilt, and found yours; it's simply beautiful..
I wanted to know (because I'm making one for myself, but my teacher gave me a different pattern) how many differents fabrics do you have in yours, or how many colours..?
I'mmaking mine in blue and off white, but looking at yours, and how beautiful it is, I was wondering if I could add some ochres or browns..
hope you can answer me, thanks a lot!!
