Please any one ?

I have had a suggestion from Elaine at

IMG_4469that I ask for donations of red scraps for my Simply Red  in an earlier post. I need pieces of  100% cotton material no larger than five inches square. All shades of red I would love from brick brown red to pink reds more the merrier. It does not matter if the pieces are not square or even cut on the bias as the whole quilt is paper pieced. I have even used left over bindings for the spikes so that means as long as the piece is at least five inches long and not less than 2 1/2 inches wide I can use it.

So far I have used all of the red scraps out of my scrap bins and are begging  friends for more. Please if you would be so generous as to want to send me red pieces I would  be pleased. It would be exciting to see where in the world they all come from. Either leave a comment or email me directly for my address.

    I have lots of leftover red scraps from a couple of redwork quilts I completed. I would be more than happy to share them with you.
